Forever Young Sanctuary: sustainable, simple living in the North Georgia mountains.
Karen & Kevin Young (we) developed our vision for Forever Young while serving in the Peace Corps in The Republic of North Macedonia (2017-2019). We bought 15 acres on Burnt Mountain in Jasper, Georgia (sight unseen!) while still in Macedonia, and moved here upon our return to America.
Our mission is to:
Create a sustainable, simple living homestead which serves as a nature sanctuary & humanitarian retreat. We envision that the simplicity of our life style & the beauty of our surroundings will draw people back to Nature & their True Selves.
Open our eco-friendly Guest House for new friends, old friends & family to come stay for a personal retreat and/or affordable mountain vacation.
We look forward to sharing our post Peace Corps vision & our current reality with YOU!

Our Mascot: Bailey
Bailey was a street dog in our Peace Corps home village of Demir Hisar, North Macedonia. We brought him to America with the incredible help of family and friends.
